NACS support

NACS support

The Tesla Charging connector or North American Charging Standard(NACS) as it is now known is becoming the norm in North America. In 2022 Tesla announced they would be opening their EV connector design to the world. Shortly afterwards, automakers like Ford, General Motors, BMW, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia and Volvo among others, stated they will be adopting the NACS port.

OpenVolt is all about being able to replace components without having to replace the whole charging station. It's flexible in its design and can therefore adapt to new standards with ease. OpenVolt_1 will be able to be purchased with an NACS charging cable if you already have a Tesla or can be purchased with a current standard J1772 cable, and be swapped later if you get an EV with an NACS port.
